Description: Iowa Department of Natural Resources is the government agency that leads Iowans in caring for their natural resources. It is responsible for maintaining state parks and forests, protecting the environment, and managing energy, fish, wildlife, and land and water resources in Iowa.
Completed projects included:
⦁ Worked on the completion of an ‘online training center’ application which included e-payment module integration.
⦁ Discussed the bug fixes and the requirements with the client to get the application live.
⦁ Fixed bugs and added features into the application using MVC pattern.
⦁ Used MVCnPHP and Geeklog Framework for developing the application.
⦁ Implemented the business layer logic using Propel, Phing and Creole.
⦁ Implemented the presentation layer with HTML, XHTML, JavaScript (YUI API), Ajax, and CSS.
⦁ Using PDFLib created a feature which allowed attendance and results to be stored in a PDF.
⦁ Written SQL queries and stored procedures to fetch and store the data using MySQL database.
⦁ Moved for LAMP to WAMP environment for transfer of owner reasons.
⦁ Developed various Administration modules to manage the application content.
⦁ Used Tortoise CVS for maintaining file modification history.
⦁ Used Eclipse and Zend Studio IDE for coding of the project.
⦁ Did thorough testing of the modules.
